  Executive Doctorate Board AI capabilities use the Anthropic Sonnet, Amazon Nova, and Google Gemini models that are designed with enterprise-grade security, incorporating data encryption, access controls, secure connections, and built-in responsible AI features like content filtering and safeguards against harmful outputs, all integrated with robust features for data privacy and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).

• Is my data used for model training?

  The Executive Doctorate Board AI platform implements Amazon Bedrock with strong security and data protection to ensure your data stays private and is not used for training base models.

  • Data Privacy: Your prompts and outputs are not shared with model providers or used to train base models; they remain private and under your control
  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, with control over encryption keys
  • Guardrails: Customizable filters to block harmful content (hate speech, violence), detect PII, filter denied topics, and check for hallucinations, providing significant risk mitigation
  • Compliance: In scope for many standards like ISO, SOC, and GDPR-compliant, with FedRAMP High authorization, making it suitable for regulated industries

• How are my insights processed and stored?

  Once your experience and content is approved, we use Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to connect the foundation models with your own private data, allowing them to generate contextually relevant and accurate answers from your insights. Knowledge Bases handle the complex workflow of data ingestion, chunking, embedding, and storing data in a vector database to keep it synced and ready-to-use for member engagement.

• Is AI used for community engagement?

  For community engagement and informed member discurs, all Executive Doctorate Board member get a Microsoft Viva Engage user. Viva Engage uses AI extensively to provide personalized assistance, summarize long conversations, draft posts, extract themes from discussions, and offer contextual information, enhancing communication and engagement within the community.

  • AI Summarization: Processes conversation threads to enable features like theme extraction, sentiment analysis, and conversation summaries for analytics
  • Community Agent: An AI-powered helper that answers questions, finds resources, and keeps community discussions flowing using community knowledge
  • Contextual Assistance: Provides tailored suggestions and information based on where the user is in the platform (communities, storylines, etc.)

• How is AI used to protect the platform?

  The Executive Doctorate Board platform uses the Google reCAPTCHA service with AI and machine learning to protect our member data from bots:

  • Behavioral Analysis: The system invisibly analyzes various factors like mouse movements, typing patterns, IP addresses, and browsing history to detect bots
